PIGTAILS AND SNAP PACKS
Pigtails and ‘Snap Packs’ have a factory terminated connector installed on one side of the cable and an un-terminated end on the other side. Fiber optic pigtails are often used in high fiber count splicing applications where the un-terminated end is spliced to an incoming fiber trunk cable. Pigtails are available in different fiber types, connector types, lengths, and fiber counts. ‘Snap Packs’ are fiber pigtails that have been pre-installed into a bulkhead adapter plate. The adapter plates and their bundled fiber pigtails provide superior cable management and installation solution. Adapter plates are designed to fit within an ‘LGX’ compatible footprint.

These 900µm Tight Buffer pigtails are designed for high fiber count splicing applications and are color coded to TIA-598-A industry standards for ease of use. Pigtails are available in Singlemode or Multimode, 6-packs or 12-packs, and your choice of connectors. All pigtails feature low insertion loss, low back reflection and are made with Corning® fiber. Standard length of 3 meters.

These pre-terminated “Snap Pack” adapter panels provide convenience to technicians splicing into fiber distribution frames. Adapter panels are LGX compatible and can be ordered in a black or off white color. Available in 6 or 12 fiber bundles and color coded to TIA-598-A industry standards, these fiber bundles provide cable management from patch panels to splice bays.
